The Impending Trucks in 2015.

During 2014, storm of Euro-IV emission fiercely affected China domestic market, with pressure mounting, most truck makers issued their new trucks with their top technology.
Trucks below are the ones we met before, but not in market yet.

JH6 is aimed at high-end, small ratio, high top speed and low rotating speed, born for fast logistic need.

JH6 is now only provide 6×4 tractor, 8.6 tons with fully equipped, this is the most light models that has more than 400 horse power in Chinese market.

Equipped with FAW CA6DM2 Euro-IV engine (Euro-II & Euro-III optional), output power reaches 420 horse power when 1900r/min.

Serving market for year, J6P has gained very good feedback, but now it is time for some upgrades.

FAW J6P new model will be major brand of FAW group in 2015. Total length 7070mm, wheel base 3450+1350mm, second axle is driving axle, and third axle is load bearing axle.

With FAW CA6DM 11L engine, compared to old J6 engine, oil change period of new model increased many times, detailed figure is known as it’s not announced yet.

With MAN MC13.540-40 engine, HOWO T7H 6×4 is very eyeball attracting. 13L 540 horse power, with SINOTRUK HW25712X gearbox, 3.08 ratio MCY12Q small ratio rear axle.
SINOTRUK HW25712X helical tooth gearbox is developed and made by SINOTRUK group, which is number one in China. MC13 is China first above500 horse power 13L engine which is mass produced.

SINOTRUK C7H is China most high end truck that is at European level.

Recently, SINOTRUK V7G was released as SINOTRUK oversea model, not been announced officially yet.
From fuzzy photo, we could see its cabin is some kind of like HOWO A7, with MAN MC engines and other improvement, we are quite interested to know more about it.

Cummins equipped by three major truck producer.

Recently, three domestic truck manufacturers are pushing their truck models which are equipped with Cummins engines, AUMAN GTL and ETX with Cummins ISG engines, DONGFENG KX with ISZ engines and X3000 of SHACMAN with ISM engines.
 
 
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Cummins engine has went a long road in Chinese market, for years of developing and adapting. Its first joint venture was Chongqing Cummins, whose main products were ship engines and construction machinery engines. Cummins tapped into Chinese truck market by the cooperation with DONGFENG commercial truck group.
 
 
Cummins engines were not doing very well in earlier ages. Users divided into two, one loved it because the engines were reliable and low-consumption, others hated it because engines did not fit Chinese fuel quality and way of maintenance.

 
ISG, ISZ and ISM, with similar displacement, same source of technology, same production standard and close supply chain, from technique view, three branch of Cummins engines have more similarities than differences. 
 
However, from perspective of marketing, it differs. AUMAN has strongest power for marketing, ISG engines aim cost performance, and most important of all, FOTON Cummins is AUMAN’s only engine producing subsidiary company. For comparison, SHACMAN is held by WEICHAI engine, and DONGFENG Commercial Truck Group has its fully owned DONGFENG engine company.
 
But then again, no matter which model sells most, Cummins will laugh last with a broad smile.

LNG trucks sales goes weak

As world oil price went down, fuel price in China and rest of the world is currently at its low level in history, and natural gas price is getting high and higher because the need has been increasing.
As a result, LNG and CNG trucks sales are facing a temporary hard time, which has been increased smoothly during these years.
Predicted by industry insiders, if oil price continually goes down, the benefit of using LNG/CNG trucks will be gone.
