Method 1: The important Label.
All SINOTRUK genuine parts that have big-enough size have labels sticked on bodies.
In Chinese market, you can use text message, telephone calls and special equipment to verify genuine parts easily. But at overseas, you may take labels as an important way to distinguish, please see a well printed label and to-scrape area below:
Method 2: Fluorescent Light.
If a fluorescent light is available at your market, this may be the cheapest way.
By using a fluorescent light toward the label, you will find obvious and shining words, some of them show “CNHTC” while others show four words in Chinese, both signs prove the parts are genuine. See pictures below:
Method 3: Two-Dimension Code on label.
From year 2014, important SINOTRUK spare parts are labeled with two-dimension code on part body, each part has an unique code number compiled into form of code.
It is surely more convenient in Chinese market, most dealers and maintenance workshops purchase the equipment to scan these codes to verify facticity and achieve easy management of stock.
And it is quiet difficult to make it same effective at overseas, but a part with two-dimension code label has more credibility than those have not. However, if you’d like to manage bulk stock of SINOTRUK spare parts, the amount of investment in these equipments is not worth mentioning, compared with its significant efficiency.
Method 4: Manufacturer's ID Number.
Each sub-factory that supplies SINOTRUK has an unique ID number which is carved in different ways on each part’s body, except for those are too small to make it happen. If you find a part has no ID number on body any where, it is a fake part for big probability.
Method 5: Look at the Appearance and Painting.
Some fake parts are refreshed from used parts or omitted with necessary working process, then to be polished and to painted. If you find the surface of part is not that smooth, even a few knots and rags are spotted, so please raise your attention.

Method 6: Is the Packing good enough?
SINOTRUK genuine spare parts has standard procedure of packing, there are different layers, and clear printing on cartoons, specified packing details etc. For some important parts, there are also qualification certificate, inspector certificate and instruction book inside.
Method 7: Is the price too low?
In China, SINOTRUK genuine parts are distributed nationwide by three layers. First layer is SINOTRUK Spare-part Managing Department, it manages bigger picture and the conduct of second layer distributors. Second layer is authorized distributor, mostly divided according to provinces, who only sell to third layer dealers and manage logistics, while third layer is dealers in specific cites and towns.
Thus, the prices of genuine parts are quite steady, always float but never fly to sky or drop to valley.
Same logic to oversea business, costs in China plus cost for freight to your country. If you get a part at a price obviously much lower than general level, be cautious.
